The Healthcare Rights Coalition is an effort by patients — people who need medical care — and allies to prevent repeal of the Affordable Care Act and guarantee access to healthcare for all Americans who need it.
We are entirely grassroots and receive no industry funding.
The Healthcare Rights Coalition believes healthcare is a civil and human right. That every single person regardless of gender, religion, race, creed, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, immigration status, existing physical or mental health disability or illness, deserves the same health care benefits and treatments as any other person. We believe that anyone needing medical care should have equitable access to all that is medically and technologically available as soon as it is approved for market.
The Healthcare Rights Coalition is dedicated to preserving the Affordable Care Act (i.e. ‘Obamacare’) in whole and in part while improving upon its basic tenets and preserving health care for all. With current governmental changes happening at a rapid pace we intend to be vigilant in comparing proposed changes, repeals, and replacements thoroughly and then publicly — through media, rallies, or lawful demonstration — pointing out changes that would result in less care, more expensive care, non-inclusive care, delayed care, or denied care. Our lives depend upon it.
We are a volunteer organization compromised of concerned US citizens spread across the entire 50 states. We welcome new volunteers who share our concerns about access to quality, affordable healthcare.
